you can use plarn for anything!

 In my blog I will share lots of 'how to' things you need to know.Seriously need to know in order to survive. And my bilm quote of the post (book or film) this can be found at the bottom of the page.And I will write in plum.

So!

There are two ways of making plarn. One is the proper way that makes thick plarn.The other way is the way I made up and is so much nicer. Its good for braiding and is thinner.

The 'proper' way

You will need:

Old plastic bags

 Scissors 

1. Get your plastic bag and smooth it out .Fold it in half lenthways then fold it again.

2. Cut off the end of the bag and the handles.Then

cut the bag into 2cm strips.

3. Open them out and you should have loops or else you've done it wrong.

4. Now you need to join them up. Lay one loop's end over the other loop's end.Take the other's ends and put one through the other.Pull both loops.Keep doing this until you have a long length of plarn.

My way.

You will need:

Old plastic bags 

Scissors

An elephant (optional)

1. Smooth out your plastic bag and it's bye-bye to end and handles.

2. Cut down the side of your bag and turn portrait.Then cut it into half a cm strips.to join,make a hole in one strip then feed the other through.Curve it behind the other strip and put it through the loop you have just made.Repeat to make a long length of plarn.
